Minolta Autocord (export)

Here's another "looker", the Minolta Autocord (export) from the late 50's. I love the classic design of this camera. The Autocord is considered to be the second greatest twin-lens reflexes after the Rolleiflexes in the classic camera scene and I have no reason to disagree. All the controls seem to be in the right place (including the unorthodox placements of the focusing lever). Build quality and the optics are excellent.

This the latest addition to my medium format camera collection, acquired from a net auction in 2003. I'm so impressed with this camera that I might even stop my search for a Rolleiflex.
